Huntington Beach Elopement at Sunset

It was a beautiful evening at Huntington Beach where I met up with J and L to capture in their elopement. We caught the light at the beginning of the golden hour. We started their romantic photo session with the backdrop full of beautiful sandy cliffs.

As I snapped photos, J and L were the picture of happiness, sharing kisses and laughter. They shared an easy, playful love – evident in the way Jasmine carefully held L’s dress while sneaking in playful touches. We climbed to the cliff top for a more intimate setting. We were greeted by a breathtaking view of the beach, Catalina Island. This was the Huntington Beach elopement setting they’d dreamed of.

This is where they exchanged vows. Emotions were raw, and I felt so honored to photograph such a such a genuine, heartfelt moment. Their kiss, set against the setting sun, was nothing short of passionate – the kind of moment that makes you believe in love stories.

As the sun dipped lower, setting the sky in a creamy orange and pink light, we headed back to the beach. The cooler air brought them closer together as they enjoyed their cake, playfully smearing frosting on each other.
