Let's adventure together in this otherworldly desert

and plenty more to be the setting for your wedding

Elope with me

We wanted to make sure we captured the moment. So the photographer capturing it had to be a good one. So we chose Karen. We chose Karen because we had seen what she had done before with other couple and lesbian couples. We had seen her pictures out in nature and we fell in love.

We saved up and paid the price because we knew it would be worth it. We will have those beautiful pictures that captured the most important moment in our lives forever and we are very thankful for that. And choosing the location mattered too. We wanted to go for a certain calm, desert vibe. So Death Valley was the perfect location.

Why Elope in Death Valley?

Eloping in Death Valley offers a truly unique experience.

This desert has incredible landscapes, from salt flats, colorful canyons, to snow-capped mountaintops. Its remoteness offers the opportunity for secluded ceremonies.

As an International Dark Sky Park, nights in Death Valley are a star-filled one-of-a-kind experience.

While remote, there's no shortage of things to do in Death Valley!

From sand boarding at Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes, joining an off-road tour, hiking through canyons, and enjoying the moonlight on the salt flats at Badwater Basin- your adventure is waiting.

best time to elope in death valley:

Winter, early Spring, late Fall (Jan to mid March, Nov and Dec)

Death Valley is best enjoyed when the temperature is comfortable (below 85) since there's no shade and it can get well above 100 over the summer. Nights can get chilly during the colder months, but you get to explore the landscape during the day!

I do not capture Death Valley elopements from late March through October.

Adventure by day, luxury at night

The Inn at Death Valley is where luxury meets adventure. This historic spot has been around for nearly 100 years and is hands down the best place to stay in the park if you’re looking for something extra special.

The mission-style adobe architecture and lush gardens give it so much character, and the natural spring-fed pool is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Plus, the stardeck is amazing for soaking up those crystal-clear desert night skies.

Whether you’re grabbing a gourmet meal at the Dining Room or a casual drink at the Lounge, you’ll feel totally taken care of.

If you really want to treat yourself, the Casitas are next-level. These private little villas are tucked into the gardens, and they even come with a golf cart to cruise around the property. The Inn also has tons of amenities—think spa treatments, a sauna, tennis courts, and more. It’s the perfect mix of comfort and convenience, and it makes your whole Death Valley experience that much better.

Trust me, staying here is worth it.
