Couple’s Session in Amsterdam, Netherlands

I met L + A at Negen Straatjes for a couple’s shoot in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The weather was just crisp enough for a light jacket and the leaves were grasping onto their final moments of red before turning brown for the season. We find our first photo location along the metal of one of the city’s many centuries-old canals. Boats, bikes, and tall buildings leaning forward and to the side lined the waterway.

The chemistry between L + A illuminated the street. After capturing the canal we made our way to the brick streets. Dodging bikes, L + A twirled in circles, running to and from the camera, while stealing kisses in between. We used the stairs of nearby businesses for more photos before finding another location with leaves. Across the canal there was a building lined with red ivy where L hopped onto A’s back for a piggy back ride. Here is where the camera caught intimate moments of closeness and adoration.

Our final stop was an empty alleyway tucked away from the business of Amsterdam. We finished our time together here as A needed to catch the train to Rotterdam. We hugged goodbyes just as the rain was stopping by for a quick hello.

These are beautiful and you’ve made me homesick. But in the BEST way. I get a real Gainsbourg/Birkin vibe from this session, especially with them on the steps.
